Essentials of Innovation – 1 Day Course
Running on the 10th, 11th, 23rd, 24th November 2021
Building on the positive feedback from previous programmes and as featuring as part of Innovation Week, the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform is pleased to announce some additional one day ‘Essentials of Innovation’ programmes (online).
When is the Essentials of Innovation programme?
This one day programme will be running on four occasions on 10th, 11th, 23rd, 24th of November 2021. It will take place online from 9:15 – 16:45 (approximately)
Who is the programme for?
This programme is recommended for public servants who are people managers and wish to develop their knowledge of innovation and create an innovative work environment.
What will the programme entail?
The programme will be facilitated by specialists in leadership and innovation from the Institute of Public Administration. It will include current examples, visiting speakers and cross-sectoral participation. The structure of the programme is outlined below.
What is the application process?
If you wish to attend the programme register your expression of interest by completing the application form below. The deadline for expressions of interest is close of business Thursday, 21st October.
Places will generally be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis from participants at the appropriate level. However, the need for a spread of participants from across the Public Service will also be a factor when awarding places.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost to participants to attend this programme. Costs are being covered by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
