Quality Customer Service Learning and Development Programmes

We have provided some links to available training programmes to assist individual learners and organisations make informed choices about training and pathways for further development.

For those in the Civil Service, One Learning has recently launched 3 new Customer Service Modules: Professional Telephone Skills Level 1, Advanced Telephone Skills Level 2, Introduction to Quality Customer Service. These can be accessed on the OneLearning platform.

OneLearning also have 2 new pilot courses, which should be of interest to QCS members: Influencing with Impact (Level 1) – aimed at staff at EO to HEO/AO and technical equivalents who wish to improve or refresh their influencing skills and Communication Techniques for Challenging Customer Situations – aimed at all staff who work in customer facing roles. Accessibility – ICS Web Accessibility Series 2022: The ICS in partnership with the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design at the National Disability Authority is offering a series of information and training webinars, to help public bodies and other organisations understand how small decisions have an impact on disabled peoples’ access to websites and mobile apps. Over 4 remote events, they will explore accessibility choices, universal design and inclusion. They will also look at how to create accessible documents and presentations (Word, PowerPoint, PDFs), and accessibility testing in mobile applications. Find out more and register.
