New disruptive technologies database launched – supported by DPER’s Public Service Innovation Fund

IDA Ireland in partnership with Enterprise Ireland have launched a national online searchable database with €50,000 from the Public Service Innovation Fund 2021. The portal will profile Irish based companies and multinational companies that have capacity in disruptive and sustainable technologies and those that want to use these technologies to change and grow their business.

This portal will enable companies to identify collaborators, partners, and providers to help them integrate new technologies into their businesses to address their key challenges and digitalisation agenda.

Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Michael McGrath TD commended the initiative, saying: “This is an excellent example of how the Public Service Innovation Fund can support collaboration within the public service in order to assist and develop businesses and also to drive Ireland’s digital transformation through the National Digital Strategy. I am pleased that we have been able to support this initiative and I hope the portal has a positive impact for businesses operating in this area.”

The portal will allow for:

  • Regional, functional, and sectoral visibility on companies with specialist competencies in disruptive and sustainable technologies in Ireland’s ecosystem
  • B2B partnerships that accelerate the deployment of disruptive technologies into future operations
  • MNCs and indigenous enterprise to have a platform in which business opportunities, innovative projects and collaborative initiatives can be formed.
