Technical Support Instrument (TSI) Annual Conference – 5th May 2022
The Technical Support Instrument (TSI) is an EU programme that provides tailor-made technical expertise to EU Member States to design and implement reforms. The support is demand driven and does not require co-financing from Member States. It is an important pillar of the EU’s initiative to help Member States mitigate the economic and social consequences of the outbreak of recent crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The European Commission is organising the 2022 Technical Support Instrument Annual Conference to highlight the importance of the Technical Support Instrument for the successful design and implementation of key reforms in the Member States.
The Conference will highlight the importance of the Technical Support Instrument (TSI) for the successful design and implementation of key reforms in the Member States, and in particular in the context of the recent crises, whereby Member States need to strengthen further their resilience and the structural capacities of their administrations. The conference will also mark the official launch of the TSI 2023 round by introducing the TSI 2023 novelties that will be presented in details during the TSI country visits.
The annual conference will detail the priorities of the instrument for the upcoming year. It will introduce the ways the instrument can support the Member States in the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plans, showcase concrete examples of multi-country projects and present the final list of the TSI 2023 flagship projects. A debate will take place on the way the instrument can help Member States for the implementation of resilience-building reforms, notably in the context of recent crises.
The event will gather political and high level representation from the European Commission and Member States.
The Conference will take place online on Thursday, 5 May 2022 from 09.00 to 12.00 Irish Time (registration at 8.40am). The deadline for registration is 29 April 2022 at 17.00 Irish Time. You can register here (you may need to copy this link into Google Chrome).
